Magellan Health, a market-leading health care management company that focuses on today's most complex and costly healthcare services, receives Axios Systems North America’s Innovation of the Year Award for their use of Service Management beyond IT.


According to the Deloitte CIO Survey, 82% of CIO’s key priority is to support new business needs beyond those of traditional IT (Deloitte, 2014). Magellan Health, an Axios Systems’ customer since 2011, has streamlined HR policy acknowledgements with Axios’s IT Service Management (ITSM) Solution, assyst. Leveraging assyst's self-service portal, Magellan provided a way for their telecommuting staff to digitally sign policy acknowledgements, ensuring corporate governance while underpinning workforce mobility. In the first phase alone more than 200 HR hours have been saved as a direct result of the solution’s intuitive user interface, clear process design and the automation of previous manual tasks.

I hope to continue working with other areas within Magellan, to accomplish such innovative and automated processes.”
