UX Designer

Job purpose

  • Lead our software’s journey to providing exceptional user experiences
  • Apply your creative flair to design highly intuitive solutions that allow to users to achieve their goals

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with all stakeholders on user journeys for solutions to new business requirements
  • Generate innovative and intuitive concepts and translate into exceptional user experiences
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to new functions and features
  • Facilitate the customer’s product visions by delivering wireframes, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
  • Take the implementation considerations for concepts and designs into full account when defining user experience solution
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of the development tools and processes

Skills and Experience

  • Solid UX design experience, preferably for the production of web based enterprise software
  • Used mock-up tools such as Balsamiq or Axure to design rapid prototypes for new features and explore solution options
  • Working knowledge of CSS, HTM and JavaScript
  • Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of responsive design
  • a strong portfolio of previous successful UX projects
  • a solid understanding of current web standards including best practices for usability and accessibility
  • Excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work independently at a detailed level with limited supervision as well as working effectively as part of a team
  • Can communicate and influence confidently at all levels

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working in an iterative software development environment
  • Domain knowledge of IT Service and Operations Management
  • Experience of using an agile planning tool
  • Strong interview techniques and successful workshop facilitation
