The component stages of an assyst implementation using the Structure Process methodology are described below.

Implementation stages

Scoping
To ensure the customer's aims and requirements for the project are understood, a scoping exercise is performed. This exercise will identify the project deliverables and timescales and will document the responsibilities for both Axios Systems and the customer.

assyst Project Initiation
The assyst Project Initiation is the official start of the project and brings together all the key people within the project. At this stage the high level documentation of the project is reviewed and AGS ensures that the key objectives of the project are still valid. The project team is formally introduced, as some might not have been involved up to this point.

assyst Planning and Design Consulting
AGS recognizes that the success of the project is dependent on the involvement of the organization throughout the implementation lifecycle. This is achieved by the assyst Planning and Design Consulting, which defines the organization's specific functional and data requirements through a series of process-based workshops. These workshops use the core Service Management processes, i.e. Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management, to identify the existing requirements and highlight operational enhancements that could be achieved by utilizing assyst functionality.

assyst Build Consulting
The assyst Build Consulting takes the decisions made in the assyst Planning and Design Consulting workshops and implements them within assyst. The data is imported and the functionality is tested by the customer against his acceptance criteria. The planning and partnership approach to defining the customers requirements ensure that the system truly reflects the customers needs. AGS will work with the customer project team to transition the system over to the Production Support teams.

assyst Go-Live Day
Axios Systems continues its partnership approach to the implementation by being present on the organization's Go-Live Day, so as to ensure that any queries or support is available at the customer's site.

Post Implementation Review
The completion of the project is formally recognized by a Post Implementation Review, where project issues and successes are discussed and actioned. The implementation is formally signed off and at this point the Axios Systems Account Manager assumes responsibility for the customer.
