For the second year running Axios Systems has been voted the UK's best Help Desk and Service Management software vendor.
The Edinburgh-based company, which is expanding rapidly in Europe and the United States, has jointly topped the ratings in the annual independent survey carried out by the Help Desk Institute (formerly CSM Focus). The survey was based on interviews with UK and Ireland-based users of Help Desk systems in a wide cross section of industries.
Vendors were judged on their handling of initial contacts with clients, implementation, their own Help Desk facilities, account management, supplier relationships and system performance.
The survey reported that Axios was the best supplier at satisfying users’ business needs and the vendor most likely to be selected by their clients for re-purchase. "More than three-quarters of its clients would not only expect to use it again but would happily recommend it to a colleague or other business," the survey said.
It added that Axios was the clear leader in handling initial enquiries, "some way ahead of the national average for account management ... and marked out as being honest and for hitting expected budgets."
On overall system performance, the report said "Axios scored particularly well for the functionality of its systems and for systems that did exactly what they were intended to do."
In an article annexed to the report, industry commentator Rhion Jones said Axios had "built up a special form of empathy with its clients. (This) results in large-scale deployments in demanding market sectors with an enviable record of client loyalty."
