NSS partnership opens South African market for Axios

She said South African companies were showing particular interest in Asset and Configuration Management, and that there was much common ground between NSS and Axios in their championing of Best Practice in IT Service Management as set out in the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL®).
“The integrated nature of assyst as an ‘out-of-the-box’ product was another key factor in our decision to work with Axios Systems,” Odendaal added. “Some competing products require major customization.”
She said that NSS (www.nss.co.za), set up almost 10 years ago and based in the northern Johannesburg suburb of Sandton, felt particularly comfortable working with a company which was growing and had achieved BS15000 certification. Last year Axios became the first organization in the world to achieve certification for BS15000, the new formal standard for Best Practice in ITSM.
