Justice Dept investigations help Axios Systems acquire new business whilst seeking out new Global Manager
30/07/2003

Recent movements in the IT Service Management (ITSM) market have resulted in a large amount of uncertainty - Magic Solution’s parent Network Associates and Peregrine Systems are both still under investigation by the SEC & The Justice Department, whilst The Remedy Corporation has recently been offloaded to BMC in a $355 million deal.

Axios Systems, however, is continuing to sustain its global position as the leading ITSM Software provider and has substantially increased its multinational blue chip client base this year. The company has of late won various large contracts across North America and Europe including Europe’s largest Utility Company, NG-Transco as well as US power firms, Northern Natural Gas and Mid-American Energy – both owned by legendary investor Warren Buffet.

The firm is also benefiting from the current economic climate as more companies look to tighten their belts. Axios’ award winning ITSM product, assyst, provides support professionals with the right tools and information to resolve problems faster and manage changes thus improving IT efficiency, reducing cost of ownership and ensuring a higher ROI (Return On Investment).

“It’s an exciting time for Axios” commented Ailsa Symeonides, Sales & Marketing Director for the Group. “We strive to provide a quality product together with quality service - it’s really paying off,” she added.

Never before has Axios been so appealing to senior IT Professionals looking to work in a highly competitive environment. Competitors of Axios include Hewlett-Packard, Computer-Associates, Network-Associates and BMC Software.

The new Global Marketing Communications position will offer an attractive package and is expected to generate a lot of interest within the global technology community.
