Axios wins double first in Germany

ARAG insurance in Munich and Publica Data in Augsburg have become the first German users of its assyst solution.

"We are delighted with the progress we are already achieving in the German market where we see substantial potential for our product," Axios' Managing Director Tasos Symeonides commented. Axios' office in Munich, opened earlier this year, is the company’s second in Europe after the Netherlands. It plans to open another center in Paris early next year.

Publica Data’s User Service Leader Markus Wachinger said the organization, the Europe-wide IT service delivery subsidiary of the Weltbild publishing group, had been impressed with assyst's comprehensive package and described the system's technical implementation as excellent.

"It was important for us to install a product which included all modules like Incident, Change and Configuration Management," he added. "It didn’t make sense to add modules piecemeal. We like to be able to use all of them whenever we need to do so.

"Publica Data’s main objective is to improve our service. assyst is helping us achieve this as well as allowing us to save costs by improving our procedures."

Mr Wachinger said another factor in choosing Axios Systems was the fact that it specialized in just one product and was therefore committed to assyst's long term development.

Axios' Dutch office in Utrecht has reported a further three new customers for assyst - ING Investment Management, environmental and civil engineering consultants Tauw bv and the Dutch Forestry Commission.

Mr Symeonides added: "The new business we have won in Germany and the Netherlands underlines our determination to expand further in Europe and co-incides with the opening of our first office in the United States."
