Axios takes AIM at systems integration

This latest addition to the assyst suite of products allows applications to be integrated into one system and puts assyst at the core of the user organization's IT control process.  Integration can include financial systems. Financial information on assets is auto-populated so users no longer need to search separate applications for purchase order numbers.  assystAIM can also be synchronized with personnel or LDAP-compatible (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol ) systems to simplify the efforts required to keep personnel records accurate and up-to-date.  Network monitoring tools such as HP Open View, IBM Tivoli Tec and Lucent Technology's VitalNet can use assystAIM as the gateway to link information to business processes and priorities.  Axios' customers are already benefiting from productivity gains delivered through integration of Interactive Voice Recognition systems and IBM's Infoman.  The user organization's business logic can now be incorporated in the system so that one process can control all external systems delivering easy automation. For example, one action could update a diary, a project plan and send several emails.  assyst allows organizations - usually with at least 1,000 PCs - to monitor their IT infrastructures, log and track incidents, uncover the causes of underlying problems and manage system changes and upgrades.  The company has several hundred blue chip private and public sector clients and employs more than 100 staff in five countries. It has offices in the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands and North America.   Axios Systems is a leading provider of Best Practice-based IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions.
