Axios Systems, the leading international IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions provider, today announced at its Global User Group the launch of its Best Practice Division. The Division has been launched to meet the growing demand from organizations around the world to improve their ITSM capabilities and will undertake consulting and training projects to drive the adoption of standards and Best Practice in ITSM. Axios has invested over 18 years into developing Best Practice-based solutions and has worked with organizations across the globe on a number of consulting engagements including an ISO/IEC 20000 Certification project with a leading utility company in the Middle-East. 

 

The requirement for IT to be more closely aligned with the business heralds a need for organizations around the world to improve the way that their IT environments are managed. By adopting Best Practice standards such as ISO/IEC 20000 Certification, companies will have the most efficient IT support possible and ensure processes meet all levels of compliance, while Managed Services Providers will be able to demonstrate proven, Best Practice ITSM. The Best Practice Division will be located in the recently launched global Service Centre in Edinburgh, UK, but will have an international remit to support customers in North America, Europe, Middle-East and Asia-Pacific. 

 

Axios helps the Competition Commission achieve ISO/IEC 20000 Certification 

In its commitment to providing first class service to its customers, the Competition Commission’s IT Services made the decision to become ISO/IEC 20000 certified. Already adopters of the ITIL® framework, the organization had already made significant progress towards ISO/IEC 20000 requirements. An existing user of Axios’ assyst solution, the organization turned to Axios to help them complete their journey to ISO/IEC 20000 certification. As a result of working with Axios, the Competition Commission became one of the first organizations in the world be ISO/IEC 20000 Certified.
