Axios Maintains Momentum in South America with First ITIL-based assyst Implementation in Brazil

Axios Systems, one of the world's leading providers of IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions, has signed its first client in Brazil through partner iO2. Construtora OAS is one of Brazil's best-known companies. The transaction further solidifies Axios' presence in the South American market.

OAS selected Axios' assyst software due to its fast deployment time, strong out-of-the-box functionality and ability to support all ITIL® disciplines with one non-modular system. The installation will provide OAS with a single consolidated environment to manage all of its central services operations.

OAS is one of Brazil's largest construction companies, handling a broad portfolio of projects across South America, from major infrastructure developments such as the San Paulo underground railway, major international airports, water and energy infrastructure projects (dams and power plants), petrochemical and refineries plants, to residential housing, office blocks, industrial complexes, retail complexes and sports stadium.

Andros Symeonides, Axios' head of emerging markets, commented, 'We are very excited about closing this deal with one of Brazil's leading companies. Our ability to deliver quick time to value whilst maintaining the agility to support future investments enables IT departments to stay ahead of the demands of the business. This is really paying dividends as we enter into new markets. We are seeing strong demand for our software and I expect the emerging markets to contribute a growing percentage of our global revenues.'

iO2 is an Axios Solution Provider partner. Headquartered in Rio de Janeiro it focuses on IT Governance, Service Management and Integration projects. It joined the Axios' network as part of the company's revamped partner program and will deliver implementation and support services for Axios in Brazil

Tasos Symeonides, Axios' CEO, said, 'This is further evidence that partner companies are seeing increased interest and revenue opportunities associated with Axios' software. Our focus on delivering customer value differentiates us from many of our competitors with their services heavy, framework offerings. We are being approached daily by companies keen to take advantage of the new Axios partner program and look forward to many similar successes.'
