Axios Global Services (AGS) is responsible for the implementation and delivery of projects for organizations across all industry sectors. The Service Delivery of each territory is managed and controlled by a Managing Consultant (MC). MCs will report to the Head of Axios Global Services. With significant experience within system implementations, the Head of Axios Global Services will lead and drive the AGS team to deliver a global strategy to meet our customers’ requirements.

Job purpose

To develop, manage, implement, evaluate and direct a company wide professional services strategy
To develop and enhance Axios Systems’ representation and reputation in the market place
To deliver growth in revenue and profitability
To direct and manage consultancy activities on a global basis

Job responsibilities

  • To lead and manage the team responsible for the implementation of our products within client organisations
  • Lead the management of customer expectations through the implementation process
  • Attract develop and retain talent within the global consultancy team
  • Responsible for reliable and consistent operation of the worldwide professional service team including customer delivery, managed solutions and service design
  • Ensuring the quality and cost-effectiveness of services delivered to customers in an environment of continuous improvement
  • Manage the activities of the programme office ensuring value for money and customer expectations are fully and continuously met
  • Drive growth within the professional services operation by developing appropriate strategies in conjunction with other business functions
  • Contribute to the strategic and tactical development of the company's business operations
  • Development of best practice processes, techniques and delivery
  • Possess an up to date and detailed knowledge of company products and services
  • Manage client expectations for delivered solutions throughout the scoping and project initiation phases and where necessary, support through to project completion
  • Providing practical support, advice and guidance to the country offices in respect of their consultancy activities and travelling to the offices on a regular basis 
  • Maintaining reporting mechanisms to provide reliable and tangible evidence of delivery and to assist in planning and improvement programmes
  • Accountable for operational costs within the business unit and to ensure delivery to the company's business plan
  • Devising and maintaining quality standards across all disciplines 
  • Responsible for all associated commercial activities within the business unit
