What is a webcast?
Also known as a webinar or web conference, a webcast is an online conference combining visual and audio elements, allowing you to watch a visual presentation including PowerPoint slides and application demonstrations using your PC. Axios Systems uses the GoToWebinar web conferencing solution to power our webcasts.
What you need – to watch
To view the webcast you will need:
- For PC-based Attendees
- Required: Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2003 Server or 2000 (Linux is not supported)
- Required: Internet Explorer® 6.0 or newer, or Mozilla® Firefox® 3.0 or newer (JavaScript™ and Java™ enabled) . If needed, download Java here.
- Internet Connection Required: Cable modem, DSL, or better recommended
- Recommended: Minimum of Pentium® class 1GHz CPU with 512 MB of RAM (2 GB of RAM for Windows Vista)
- For Mac-based Attendees
- Required: Mac OS X 10.4.11 (Tiger), OS X 10.5 (Leopard), OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
- Required: Safari 3.0 or newer, Firefox 2.0 or newer; (JavaScript and Java enabled)
- Internet Connection Required: Cable modem, DSL or better recommended
- Required: PowerPC G4/G5 or Intel processor, 512 MB of RAM or better
- To Use VoIP
- Required: Fast Internet connection (384 kbps or more recommended)
- Required: Headset (USB recommended) or microphone and speakers
What you need – to hear
To hear the presenters you will need either:
- A PC enabled for sound (with onboard sound and speakers or headphones). Connect up your speakers/headphones before the webcast and you will automatically be placed into the audio broadcasting stream when you join the webcast online.
- A regular phone to 'dial-in' to the teleconference that accompanies the webcast. After you login to the online webcast, you can request the dial-in numbers available. Select the teleconference number for your country, or the country nearest to you.

There's no teleconference number for my country, what do I do?
There is not a dial-in number for every country. Please dial in using the teleconference number listed against the country closest to you.
My firewall is blocking GoToMeeting
If your personal firewall (ZoneAlarm, Norton Personal Firewall, etc.) is blocking GoToWebinar, select your firewall's option to allow GoToWebinar to access the Internet.
- Select the check box to Remember the answer each time I use this program.
- Click Yes to enable GoToWebinar to access the Internet.
If you do not have a personal firewall but are in a "Business Environment," you may have a hardware firewall. Please provide the document found at http://www.citrixonline.com/iprange to your IT department so that they may allow GoToWebinar to connect.
If a connection still cannot be established, please call the GoToWebinar Customer Care team. For international support numbers, please go to http://support.gotomeeting.com and select the Contact Support tab in the top menu.
