Axios Expands East with Moscow Opening

Axios Systems, the world’s leading IT Service Management (ITSM) company, today announces that it has opened an office in Moscow in response to increased demand for Best Practice (ITIL®) based software in Russia and former CIS states.

Axios Systems has been active in Russia for some time and has built strong relationships with major players in the region, including partnerships with two of the largest systems integrators, Croc and LANIT. Late in 2007 it secured its first customer M-Video, Russia’s largest Household Electrical Retailer

Spearheading plans will be Heerco Groenewegen, who takes on a new role as Sales Manager focussed specifically on Russia. Heerco will work with Hanspeter Thueler, who recently joined Axios, from BMC Software to take on overall sales responsibility for the Eastern European & Russian Markets. Together they will drive the company’s continued success in this region.
