Axios Systems (www.axiossystems.com), leading provider of IT Service Management solutions, announced its support of the launch of ISO/IEC 20000, the International standard for IT Service Management (ITSM).
The new International standard, ISO/IEC 20000, is largely based upon the British Standard, BS 15000, of which Axios Systems was the first organization in the world to achieve certification.
Brian Hendry, Managing Consultant at Axios Systems, commented: “This is a significant move forward in the worldwide adoption of the standard. ISO/IEC 20000 defines the Service Management processes which are essential for the delivery of first class, quality services. Achieving certification against this standard means that organizations can objectively prove to their customers that their services adhere to industry Best Practice”.
Axios has also recently become an Accredited Course Provider for ISO/IEC 20000. Awarded by the itSMF (IT Service Management Forum), this will allow Axios to further prove and share its expertise in the area of ITSM Best Practice.
Brian continued: “As part of our increasing portfolio of consulting services, we are keen to help improve other organizations’ knowledge of ISO/IEC 20000 and its underlying framework, ITIL® (IT Infrastructure Library). We want to help them gain the kind of success we have achieved and we believe we are exceptionally well qualified to deliver such specialized training around the world.”
Axios’ award winning ITSM solution, assyst, was designed from inception around ITIL® and supports organizations’ implementation of such Best Practice processes.
